Advertising Photography

Just Felt I should leave these here first.
I like how monochromatic the shot is with the title as well. I would've liked to tie up the drop shadow with the cups shadow to make them look the same if i did it again. I used layer masks and camera raw filters to edit the photo and text and drop shadow with the text.

Still Life Personality Story Thingy
Here's the story. I was hungry right. So I decided to eat an apple because I wanted to be original and not post a picture of an egg. It was hard to take a bite, then take a picture, repeat. The main element of art I chose was Texture. When editing the photos, I tried to make the texture of the apple flesh show a lot more. The principle of design I mainly focused was Balance. I tried to make the pictures really symmetrical, which was hard due to an apple not being perfectly round and bits are a whole other story.

Still Life
I like the sharp contrasts even though it's black and White. I would've put more effort in the setup for it next time. My keyboard is visible in the background, but that might just make it look a bit more normal.
I really like how the color came out in this picture. For a yoyo in front of my bed, this had the perfect exposure in my opinion. I edited the color to pop a little bit more. It was that or black and white, since I already did a black and white shot, this was more variety. The metallic paint on the is so vivid and I really like the turnout.

Ansel Adams Thing
I like how this picture can display light and the sense of color without actually being in color. It looks so modern for the time and It's just pleasing to look at. It reminds me of somebodies desktop background.

Grand Landscape
Macro
1) Using a macro lens is fun because you can get really really close to the subject and make it look good
2) My favorite shot was the first one because of the colors I was able to pull out and the general detail of the shot
3) The second shot uses the rule of thirds the best
4) Balance, variety and unity were used best in the first shot.

Fish Bulb Thing
1) The most difficult part of the tutorial was probably getting the fish in the right spot
2) I like the vibrance and color in the image the most
3) "Fish Bulb Thing"
