1) Story telling, according to Stanton, is a necessity to life and uses life to portray characters and emotions.
2) As a story teller, your job is to connect the Audience to the story. It's to draw them in and make them care.
3) Giving your character "spine" is the best way to make them a solid character. The audience has a better way to connect to a character with spine or purpose.
